Spine good, corners and a few other small pieces renewed on boards; later e/ps; title laid-down with pieces missing at head and towards fore-edge (but all printing intact), rather soiled, table stained, engraved title within plate-mark little soiled-but reasonable, text with brown soiling etc; incl. stains in some places - pp. 59-69 markedly, pp. 197-204 some outer margins loss at one place (text and marginal notes not affected), pp. 341/42 and 347/48 marked brown soiling (but text readable); prelims. (after the 2 titles) are: (2), 2, (2)pp. text: pp. 3-394 (i.e. complete); nb pagination 247/50 used twice, 257-60 not used; name on front blank ?William Morgan 1854??, 20th century pictorial bookplate of Cynthia and John Barnes.
