A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH WHITE MARBLE AND ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK BY PLANCHON OF PARIS, the urn shaped marble surmount with swags and beading above an architectural style case with pierced foliate mounts to the lower case and vases of flowers to the sides, the enamel dial with Arabic numerals and painted swags, eight day movement, bell strike half hourly, named to dial and movement 'Planchon A Paris', numbered 7034, the case supported on four knopped feet, height 33.5cm, with key, pendulum and photocopy of receipt (Clock, key, pendulum and copy of receipt) (Condition report: all the gilt mounts appear complete and intact, there is chipping to the enamel around the winding holes, the clock winds and runs but isn't chiming on the correct hour or half hour, the marble case has a number of small chips along the edges as well as discolouration on the high points, there are three streaks of a dried glue? on the left hand side facing the clock)
