A 19th century Chinese carved jade lidded urn / vase in the form of a peony / rose bush, with blossoming flowers and leaves, two sparrows amongst the foliage, phoenix / large plumed bird of pray standing at the base of the bush. All to stand on a shaped mahogany stand with intricate pierced pattern. Jade measures 32cm tall approx., stand 5cm tall.
