A pre-1855 officer's rectangular gilt and silver plated shoulder belt plate of the 41st (Welch) Regiment, frosted plate with a burnished rim bearing the Prince of Wales's feathers on blue enamel within a crowned Garter and motto, and wreath incorporating "XLI" and 5 battle honours "Detroit" to "Ava", all on a studded star, double hook and stud fastening.
