A late 19c French mantel clock, the two train movement rack striking on a gong and having a 9cm diam. cream enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute figures. It is contained in a waisted rococo case with gilt brass mounts and feet and having a boullework brass inlaid front. It is surmounted by a gilt foliage crest and stands 30cm tall.

The movement seems complete and clean. The dial glass and bezel are undamaged. The brass mounts are also complete and undamaged. The boullework is complete but some sections are lifting slightly and there is some wear to the finish on the rear door.
