Ethnographic / Native / Tribal : A 20thC French Polynesian ceremonial paddle with carved banded decoration, the handle with geometric detail and stylised mask motifs, the finial signed J. Kimitato. Approx. 64" long

Provenance: Reputed to have belonged to film director Sir David Lean who lived in French Polynesia whilst conducting research for one of his movies.
