A mid 19c English pair case verge pocket watch, the movement signed Ballard Cranbrook and the white enamel dial inscribed Obed Waghorne 1843. The movement has ringed pillars and a finely chased and pierced balance cock and the white enamel dial has Roman numerals. It is contained in silver pair cases hallmarked for London 1843. 5.5cms dia.
The movement seems complete and the balance swings but the movement doesn't currently run. the dial is in good condition. The glass is very scratched and rubbed. There is a dink in the back of the inner case and both cases need cleaning.
