A pair of large Chinese blue and white jars and covers, 19th century, painted to each side with a lady and three boys playing in a rockwork garden, within shaped reserves on a prunus blossom ground, double circle marks to base, 33cm high

Both doors with typical minor glaze imperfections. One jar has a small section of the rim broken and re-stuck with an associated hairline crack running down a third of the way into the body. There are two further hairline cracks from rim down a third of the way into the body.
Otherwise in good condition.
