2. 1914-15 Star to 15283 Pte W. White York R. very fine. Sgt William White was killed in action with 9th Bn on 20th September 1916 and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial. From Ryhope Colliery, with copied CWGC and Soldiers Died.
3. 1914-15 Star trio and KGV Special Constabulary Long Service Medal to GS-14349 Pte J.H. Wood 4-D. Gds (John H. Wood on Constabulary) very fine. With 1975 Derby & Borough Special Constabulary letter awarding him a bar (this missing) and a photo of possibly him being presented his medal. (R)
