A near pair of Derby porcelain figures of a shepherd and shepherdess, c. 1760-65, the shepherd modelled holding a letter with a dog at his feet, the shepherdess modelled placing a garland around the neck of a lamb, both surrounded by flowers, raised on scrolled bases with gilt highlights, patch marks to bases, 21cm high and 20cm high (2) (at fault)

Shepherd - Shows small losses to the floral encrustations, minor crazing, rubbing to the gilt highlights, chips and nibbles throughout.

Shepherdess - Small losses to the floral encrustations, chips and nibbles throughout, firing crack to base, restoration to the sheep's and shepherdess's foot and possible restoration to hat (seen in photo).
