DOULTON ARTWARE WATER FILTER. 12.9ins tall. A striking stoneware design - straight sided centre section, bulbous footed lower part. The entire form emblazoned with multicoloured, ornate, applied sprigs, centre column featuring antlered deer, trees and grass ground. Various inscribed base marks (initials etc to lid). A rare shape variant. Very good - just a couple of under lid flakes, plus 2 to inner rim (from use) plus under one foot. A rarely seen, early, Doulton filter variant.
