RARE 1840 'BY POST' CONTEMPORARY IMITATION PLUS TWO DERAEDEMAEKER REPRINTS - imitation of the Spooner No. 5 'By Post' envelope but with 'No 1' and 'REJECTED DESIGN'S FOR THE POSTAGE ENVELOPE' imprint on the flap. Close to fine, just some very light tone spotting and a red mark at top left. Fewer than ten recorded. Plus Deraedemaeker reprints of Fores's Civic Envelope and of the Menzies envelope. (3)
