1961 United Nations Commemoration, four archive pages with essays or proofs, from the printers Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co Ltd, showing the development of the issue, comprising a page with superbly handpainted essays of the eight values and the miniature sheet on thick card, most in the issued designs, the 10c differing in layout and the miniature sheet with additional logos at the sides; two pages each with imperf coloured proofs of the eight stamps and miniature sheet, the 10c and 10col stamps differing from the issued designs and the miniature sheet with wider borders than the issued sheet, the two 20c and 45c proofs and miniature sheet proofs in slightly differing shades, the two pages otherwise identical, one headed "As submitted, 19-6-61" dated 20 JUN 1961 and endorsed on reverse "10cents, 10 colonnes, souvenir sheet to be amended. All other values approved"; and a fourth page headed "2nd Proving" and signed with proofs of the 10c, 10col and miniature sheet in the issued designs, dated 13 JUL 1961 on reverse. A unique group.
