A Zimbabwean 'Ngoma' drum With pegged taut hide, and hollowed cylindrical body with a shaped base, height 34cm, apparently from the Korekore? tribe, with a handwritten provenance dated 1978. From a small collection formed by the vendors while living in Rhodesia in the 1970s, each with a handwritten note of provenance, from the Salisbury (Harare) based dealer/collector P.K.Chiunye.
