Bahawalpur accumulation of used postal stationery cards

More Information

1870s-1947 postal history.  A very large accumulation of used postal stationery in two half-boxes, principally outgoing cards and envelopes from the state (1783) from various offices; Ahmadpur, Allahabad, Bahawalpur, Khairpur, Khanpur and Minchinabad, plus TPOs going through the state.  Around 80 receipts also included.  Almost all cards are housed in plastic wallets.  An amazing range, obviously with considerable duplication, but representing a unique opportunity for the postal historian to carry out research, with numerous railway transit marks
