An Indian carved sandalwood casket, of rectangular outline, with shallow domed hinged lid, with all-over decoration of figures and animals, raised on squat bun feet, 32cm wide.
Overall condition is fair to good. The carving is extremely crisp to all panel with no apparent losses. There are two strips of moulding missing from the lid interior. the underside of the base has several splits in it. The lid top if full of dust and shows signs of wear to the figures. and slight losses to the moulded edges. height 20cm, depth 21cm width 33cm
