Postal Ephemera; a wooden crate filled with side-light deflectors for Post Office vans. These were recovered (about mid/late 1970s) from a building used during the Second World War as a temporary sorting office in Central Edinburgh, and have been in an attic since. These were fitted to vehicle lights to deflect the light downwards during the blackout.
Contents not counted but must be many dozens if not hundreds. Some are rusted to varying extents. Gross weight c.11kg.
