A 19th century French brass carriage clock, with four bevelled glass panes, the white enamel face with black Roman numerals, minute markers and blued steel hands, top plate marked 'Made in Switzerland, Chs Gorge SA', top engraved 'E. O. H. from Major & Mrs C. P. J. July 1875', 8.5 by 7.5 by 12cm, with key. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
