Overall of a rich mid brown tone, the top somewhat faded to a lighter colour and with old splits and separations in the joins, the slot for letters is at the top front and this has an appearance of possibly seeing some sort of conversion but may have always been intended as a post box, pin hinge to the top of the door has come loose, front catch operated by a sliding button, back of the case a little faded.
