A TRADITIONAL AFRICAN ‘TAKLING’ DRUM, hour-glass shaped pressure drum, so-named because of its ability to imitate spoken language/rhythms. With two heads at either side of the drum’s body, made from animal hide, wrapped around the drum’s wooden hoop. Cords run the length of the drums body, also bound around the hoops. Dimensions: 27cm wide approx.
