19th century beadwork and leather case with compartments, latterly used for the storage of tatting shuttles and containing four examples, two in tortoiseshell, one in mother of pearl and one in bone, together with examples of work in progress, the case exterior decorated in gold and featuring a panel of beadwork on each side, designed with cornucopia: together with a slim leather case of the same period, gilded leather and beadwork to each side, containing a darning needle; and an unusual pink needle case in punched card, the geometric design raised, wool panels inside, tied with pink silk ribbon (3)
