LE GÉNÉRAL CHANZY (46): Letter with printed address panel (central fold) addressed to Montereau, Seine & Marne with Cérès 20c tied by star '9' cancellation and Paris rue Montaigne cds of 19. December 1870; contents refer to methods of getting mail into the city. This balloon and its mail was captured by the Prussian army and much of the mail destroyed.
