A smokebox numberplate 9644 from a GWR 8750 Class 0-6-0PT built at Swindon and allocated new to Ebbw Junction in April 1946 and later Pontypool Road and Radyr from where it was withdrawn on 3 June 1965. It was sold for scrap to T.W. Ward at Briton Ferry and was noted in their yard from 7 to 28 August 1965. The front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
