A pair of William IV mahogany library/carver chairs, each with a concave top rail and scrolled terminals, carved acanthus splat, drop-in upholstered seat, upon lobed and turned front legs, plain back swept rear legs, 88cm/48cm H x56cm W x 50cm D (2)

Seat pads have been altered to drop-in, small rip to one seat pad.
Sun bleaching/fading to the rear of both chairs, minor repair to the rear of one top rail, further evidence of repairs/restoration including additional spandrels added to the tops of the legs and added front rail supports, please see additional images.
Play in the arm of one chair with some separation in the arm joints, otherwise all other joints appear firm with little or no play.
