A CASED VICTORIAN SILVER CHILD'S SANDWICH BOX WITH KNIFE AND FORK
the box by Thomas Whitehouse, London 1889; the flatware by Wakely & Wheeler, London 1889; comprising a fork, knife and hinged box, all with acid-etched flowers, in a fitted leather case. Box 10.7cm long, box 7.2 troy ounces
The box is in superb condition. The marks are clear. The hinge works well. The decoration is fabulously crisp. The gilded interior is in good condition. The knife and fork have a little more wear, but overall, the lot is in great order.
