AN ART DECO SILVER CIGARETTE BOX by John Rose, Birmingham 1938, of bombe oblong form raised upon four bracket feet, the hinged flat cover with engine turning, 7" wide (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
Generally good, no engraving, date letter rubbed on outside but clear to interior of lid. One back foot (RHS as you look at it) has been pushed/squashed in and so is uneven. There is a tiny dent/scratch close to the other back foot. The thumbpiece is very slightly misshapen, but this can only be seen in bright light.
