A GEORGE III SILVER VINAIGRETTE
by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1810, of rounded rectangular form, the hinged cover inset with a blue panel with gold-flecked nodules, the interior with a gilt pierced scroll decorated grille. 3.3cm long
The marks are clear. The cover and the grille open and close well. Two shallow slice-like losses are to one end of the underside of the blue panel. There are a couple of small dents and some age-related surface wear.
