Imperial German Seitengewehr Early Pattern M1898/05 Butcher Bayonet


14 1/4 inch, single edged blade widening towards the point. Wide fuller.  Forte with maker "Simson & Co Suhl".  Back edge dated "11".  Steel part muzzle ring and turn up crossguard.  Steel pommel with Acceptance marks.  Grooved wooden slab grips.  Contained in its steel mounted, leather scabbard.
