NEW BRUNSWICK - INGOING STAMPED/STAMPLESS MAIL EX G.B. INC. H.S. "25/CENTS" (2 TYPES); May 1861/Oct. 1864 covers ex Ballybay, London or Devonport to N.B. addresses; Nov. 1861 to Sackville "via Queenstown p. Asia via New York" but with only a 6d Lilac tied by London duplex and so charged "17c" on delivery (the rate via USA was 8d, so this was a 2d deficient + half the 6d fine), plus 1861/4 stampless trio all charged "8" in GB (Liverpool?) and then with the h.s. "25/CENTS" marks of St. John struck on arrival (2 different types; the October 1864 having much larger numerals). Scarce group.
