SILVER AND MAMMOTH TOOTH SNUFF BOX, TRICHINOPOLY INDIA. C.1860. A silver box with lid and base made from two cut sheets of mammoth tooth. The silver frame chased all over with the foliage typical of this school of silversmiths.

The box is in very good order. There is no damage to the box nor to the tooth insert.
