AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY SMALL ROYAL WORCESTER RETICULATED PEDESTAL EWER, BY GEORGE OWEN AND HARRY CHAIR, painted with garlands of flowers to an ivory ground beneath a pierced border, heightened with gilt and jewelled in white enamel, with a mask-capped scroll handle and wavy rim, raised on a square pedestal base, signed H. Chair, very indistinct incised marks to base, puce factory mark, date cypher 1908, '1144'. 16.5cm high

The wavy rim has been restored (appears to be two ?lobes? restored), with a subsequent glaze chip of approx 4mm x 3mm; the interior of the spout with a patch of brown discolouration under the glaze, with two similar marks to the lower body and the pedestal, light surface wear and scratching, minor rubbing to the gilt beading.
