A VICTORIAN 1822 PATTERN SWORD AND SCABBARD. With an unmarked 81cm pipe-backed pointed blade, the brass guard with gothic type decoration, with a Lion rampant within an oak wreath, with wire hound grip, variant to the usual 'S' shaped folding guard and stepped oval pommel, in a brass scabbard with twin ring suspension. 97cm overall. . Perhaps an East India Company issue *Condition: Dent to scabbard, dent to guard , light scuffing throughout and wear to grip. Previous owners accession mark.
