A MID 20TH CENTURY PORTRAIT OF A RABBI, a seated Rabbi is reading from a book, his glasses are perched upon the end of his nose, indistinctly signed bottom right, attributed to Gotlika verso, oil on board, approximate size 41cm x 35cm, Condition Report: the painting is in good condition aside from a blemish above his eyebrow, frame marked in places (NOTE: a note verso states that the portrait was made in the Warsaw Ghetto during German Occupation in 1944, a certificate from the Polish Government verso is dated 1966)
