A GEORGE V SWORD AND SCABBARD, POSSIBLY ROYAL ARTILLERY OFFICERS.
With an 89cm straight pointed and fullered blade with George V monogram and crown and elaborate interlacing foliate decoration, the blade by R.F. Mosley & Co.Limited, Manufacturers, Sheffield, marked 'Proved' tothe other side. With a three bar type nickel plated guard and domed pommel with round steel securing nut, fish skin grips with wire bindings, with a leather sword knot. In a leather service scabbard, 108cm overall.
