A late 17th century / early 18th century carved oak trunk blanket box chest. The trunk having a straight hinged top over a panelled front with top carved frieze. Each panel carved with diamond shaped vignettes. Raised on straight supports on stile legs. The chest opening to reveal a spacious interior. Measures approx. 62cm x 135cm x 56cm.
