French Infantrymans Briquet Hanger Sword with curved single edged blade 590mm in length, inspection marked along with German makers marks and date to spine of blade, "Klingenthal 1819". Cast brass grip with remains of felt washer to blade. Overall length 735mm. Complete with black leather scabbard with brass fittings.
