Imperial German hunting dagger. A German National Hunting Association cutlass, the 12"(30cm) long single-edged, spear-point blade decorated to both sides with hunting and forest scenes and 'Waidmannsheil' (Good Hunting) the crossguard with hounds-head finials and clamshell guard, the antler grip with pillbox pommel mounted with acorn finial, in brass-mounted and black leather scabbard with acorn frog stud, bound with green and white German portepee, dagger length 18" (46cm). On WWII German bayonet frog.
