32 1/4 inch, single edged blade with wide fuller. Etched foliage scroll panels. Prince of Wales plumes over HAC. The reverse with winged armoured arm over shield. Lower panel with owner's family shield. Forte with maker "Pillin Manufacturers Gerrard St Soho London". Plated steel pierced guard with "HAC" flaming grenade cartouche. Plated steel, stepped pommel and part checkered backstrap. Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding. Contained in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings. Some plating loss.
