A late 17th/early 18th Century Spanish walnut strung vargueno, blacksmith iron side handles, locks, escutcheon, studwork and key, the fall opening to an arrangement of various sized drawers with tortoiseshell fronts and ivory banding, turned ivory handles, 50cm high, 101cm wide, 35cm deep, on a later stand with Romanesque arches and retractable arm supports for the fall-front, measurements in full, 133cm high, 101cm wide, 35cm deep.
