A VERY FINE AND RARE 17TH CENTURY OTTOMAN TURKISH TOMBAK OPEN-WORKED COPPER INCENSE BURNER

An exceptional 17th century Ottoman Turkish incense burner, crafted in tombak (gilded copper). The piece features intricate open-worked arabesque patterns on the dome-shaped lid, opening to reveal the inner incense chamber. The burner stands on a flared pedestal base, with engraved details throughout, and an arched handle for ease of use.
