A good quality late-Victorian amboyna, walnut and ebonised centre table in the Aesthetic taste - the top with ebonised moulded edge and satinwood, kingwood and rosewood banding, raised on four fluted and gadroon carved supports united by a conforming X-stretcher, on swept, chamfered legs with brass cap castors, 64.5cm diameter, 61cm high.
In very good, totally original condition – the top is in very good order, with VG colour and no damage, lifting, splits or blisters to the veneer. The supports beneath are also in VG condition, with no repairs and no loose joints or movement. Castors all original and securely fixed. A very good table overall
