by S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Birmingham 1913, of square-section, the hinged cover inset with an Essex crystal panel depicting a spaniel carrying a pheasant on a white ground. 8.5cm high
Maker's mark is rubbed, a couple of small flea bites to the glass along with surface scratches to the underside of the base, the silver cover and panel in good condition commensurate with age.
