Dollar (counterfeit) George III oval countermark on a Spanish Mexico 8 Reales 1791 Mo FM, 25.55g. The coin has a slightly quaint portrait with the wrong features for 1791. The edge is patterned correctly or semi-correctly. The countermark is not genuine i.e. missing the spray of hair behind the shoulder. To what extent this may be a contemporary forgery, or a disguised relatively modern cast I cannot say. Lightly toned aVF, tiny marks.
