A George III Bilston enamel box, circa 1795, of oval form, the hinged lid decorated with courting couple and chaperone in parkland with cattle and sheep, gilt C scroll border over pink ground, the body with landscape vignettes in gilt framed cartouche, pink ground with gilt trellis panels, raised gilt strap leaves and flower to base, width 8cm, some damage and restoration.
Possibly restoration evidence under UV light, left hand side of lid border has been restored, areas of overpainting, interior base shows signs of restoration, otherwise condition commensurate with age and wear
