Plus 1844 EL from "Madras" to Suffolk headed & countersigned for a Private having a partial red oval "MADRAS/FREE" ds (stained) on the reverse but also having a fine red oval Bombay "INDIA" and London handstruck "2[d]" charge-mark on the front.
