'Romany Sue' has a fine hair crack just above the foot; it runs horizontally along the foot rim and then extends upwards along the pleat of her dress. There are tiny chips and losses to the flowers in her baskets. There is a further hair crack running along the foot rim under the pleats of her skirt at the back.
The 'Victorian Lady' has fine hair crack issuing from the airhole in the base and the head has been off and re-stuck with glue residues at the back of the head. In addition there appears to be a repaired horizontal crack running through her, also at elbow height with subsequent loss at the back of the figure.
