A Moroccan sword nimcha. Second half of the 19th century, slightly curved SE blade 94.5cms cut with 2 fullers (moderately pitted), iron guard of conventional form with 3 down-turned quillons and integral knuckle bow all with traces of gold damascene, rhino horn grip, in its silver scabbard (not H.M.) engraved with regular scrolling foliage and fitted with 3 suspension rings. GC £400-600
