WAR IN EUROPE - MAINLY WWI: A varied selection of cards showing mainly Belgian and French soldiers/camps, or towns, villages, bridges etc. after bombardment. Mostly B&W images with numerous RP, the majority not postally used. Lot inc. an early PPC showing a crow taking inspection at a military parade with single ring pmks Stuttgart and Ostende Aug. 1898 and a Prisoner of War postcard written from Camp Clark Missouri, Kompanie 1 with pmk New York Feb. 1945. Also an early Italian red card showing the King, with undivided back, pmk 1913. An interesting varied lot of ex-dealer stock in mixed condition but mostly good or better.
