THOMAS LISTER, LUDDENDEN. A MID 18TH CENTURY EIGHT-DAY BRASS DIAL MOON ROLLER LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" brass arched dial with silvered chapter ring and engraved centre, having a date ring and seconds dial below a rolling moon. Fronting a finely made arched movement with knopped pillars, repeat mechanism and anchor escapement, striking the hours on a bell. The later carved Oak case with caddy top and panelled base. (228cm high)
