Shotgun, a fine 16 Bore single barrelled flintlock sporting shotgun, swan neck cock (lock crisp on 1st & 2nd cock), high quality walnut stock with relief acanthus type carving, a few worn holes noted. Carved check rest, some amateur sheet silver repairs to buttplate, ramrod pipes and fore-end, side plate similar. Modern brass repro trigger guard, barrel 38" nicely inlaid with silver wire decoration and stamped "H.S.N.48". Forend with old fracture repair. Replacement ramrod with brass tip.
